TGE PlasmaFuel in Action

TGE PlasmaFuel™, GreenCollar™ Jobs and Green Energy Projects will transform
waste liabilities into energy assets to buld the foundation of the GreenEconomy™.

TGE encourages minimal waste. First, RECYCLE, REUSE, AND REDUCE as much waste as possible. Then, transform the rest into renewable energy and marketable commodities. TransGreen Energy uses the power of the plasma arc technology to transform industrial by-products and non-recycled municipal solid waste into TGE PlasmaFuel™. This is a versatile and environmentally responsible process for the production of energy.

The TGE PlasmaFuel™ solution will transform feedstocks that would otherwise be placed in landfills or incinerated into environmentally responsible and valuable energy products. These feedstocks include tires, plastics, electronics, other industrial by-products and discarded consumer goods.


At the core of TransGreen Energy’s process is Westinghouse Plasma Corporation’s (WPC) plasma conversion system with more than 20 years and 500,000 hours of operation worldwide.  According to an in-depth study performed by the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico and published in the Brazilian Journal of Physics, the Westinghouse Plasma Conversion System is one of the cleanest and most efficient means for producing hydrogen synthesis gas from solid material.


The transformation occurs as materials are superheated in a plasma zone, separating the carbon and hydrogen to form a synthesis gas. The synthesis gas is converted into clean renewable liquid fuels. In addition, the conversion process yields valuable SynMelt™ and GreenSteel™.

The Project

TGE is building and modeling the proprietary systems that allow TGE PlasmaFuel™
facilities to be REPLICATED globaly, quickly, and at the lowest possible cost.

The diagram below identifies key components for one possible configuration of the TGE PlasmaFuel™ Process.  TransGreen Energy has identified five essential areas and key suppliers capable of designing the subsystems for the plant. These technology areas are Material Storage and Handling, Plasma Conversion Vessel, Syngas Cleanup and Processing, and Balance of Plant.

TGE PlasmaFuel™ for Cleaner Air and Water...

TGE PlasmFuel™ is our trademarked name for the clean liquid fuels that result from our proven conversion processes. Our facilities are closed-loop systems.
